Guided by the skilled and accomplished instructor, Chelsea Weiss from Holy Moly Textiles, this course is a prerequisite for anyone looking to pursue future sewing classes with Chelsea. This class is perfect for beginners! In this class, the spotlight will be on crucial techniques such as threading the needle, perfecting knots, sewing buttons, and skillfully mending holes. To ensure you can continue honing your skills at home, each student will receive a comprehensive take-home sewing kit. Get ready to embark on a creative journey into the world of hand sewing! The class fee includes all materials. Appropriate for adults and for children 12 years and over who are taking this class with an adult. Instructor: Chelsea Weiss, also known as Holy Moly Textiles, is a Red Bank alterations specialist. Serving the larger Chattanooga area, she seeks to expand her clients' vision when it comes to shopping and styling clothes. She has been sewing since the age of 5, working in costume design in 5 theaters across the United States, and has now dedicated her focus to exploring people's personal style. Chelsea strives to teach everyone the basics of sewing to further their creativity and capabilities so that they can communicate and embody their truest self.
