Intro to Kinusaiga - Fall Edition

Service Description

Kinusaiga, meaning "silk-wrapped picture," traditionally uses carved wood and kimono fabric to create patchwork pictures. In this modern version, we will be using craft knives and scissors, cutting and applying fabrics to a sticky foam base. A mix of patterns, colors, and textures creates visual interest, and the design possibilities are endless. And no sewing is involved! In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will create a unique ready-to-hang artwork featuring a pretty multicolor pumpkin. All materials are included in the class fee. Ages 16+ are welcome.
