Service Description

Surface design is the art of applying visual artwork—such as patterns, illustrations, or textures—to the surface of a product to enhance its appearance and functionality. It transforms everyday items into decorated, engaging goods. In this introductory class, we will learn to utilize common tools and supplies to create our own fabric patterns and finishes. Techniques we will use include shaving cream marbling, crayon rubbing, foam plate printmaking, and marker dyeing.
