Appropriate for ages 12 and up (when accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class). Please make sure you are familiar with the basics of machine sewing and that you know how to thread a machine needle, how to thread the bobbin, how to sew forward, and how to sew in reverse. The instructor for this class is Rebekah Hook. Rebekah's father taught her how to sew when she was a kid. She used to make clothes for her dolls. She stopped sewing for years but during Covid, she started sewing masks for everyone at the school where she taught. She rediscovered her love of sewing during her time at home and has been sewing ever since. She loves making things as gifts for friends and making clothes for her daughter, nieces, and herself. Rebekah is a former high school teacher and loves sharing sewing with others.
